Our puppies are born in our home and raised with lots of love. They will
have age appropriate puppy shots and will be dewormed regularly from 2
weeks of age. We spend a great deal of time with our puppies making sure
they all get their fair share of love and attention, we hope it shows once you
take your new puppy home. We expect that our puppies will be house pets,
dachshunds are not designed to be outdoor dogs. Please ask questions about
owning a dachshund, we are always happy to talk about our dogs! We are
always available by email and by phone from 8:00 am until 8:00 PM Monday
through Saturday.
We raise miniatures, but some pups mature to over 11 pounds. We hope that you will love him as
much at 12 pounds as you would at 9 pounds should he get a little bigger. Please ask about a pup's
parents size before purchasing, however, we cannot guarantee a pup's adult size no matter the size of
the parents. Puppies are ready to go to new homes at 8 weeks of age. Each baby has an individual
personality, once you have have your new pup home, you play a major role in providing the
necessary training to make your pup a balanced, healthy adult. We cannot possibly house break all
pups before they go to new homes! They are doggie door and newspaper trained.
Our pups are sold with LIMITED AKC, this means they are NOT eligible for
breeding or showing in conformation class but may be shown in agility,
obedience and Earth Dog . We will consider a pup with full AKC for
showing. We require a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of $100.00 to hold a
puppy, no exceptions unless something should happen to a pup while in our
care. A puppy is considered available until we receive a deposit.
We do not show our dogs or arrange puppy pick ups on Sundays, we reserve
Sundays for spending precious time with our family. Thank you for your
understanding!

I am frequently asked which makes a better pet, male or female...both!
Males are generally less expensive to purchase and also to have altered.
