| WELCOME! Our puppies are born in our home and raised with lots of love. They will have age appropriate puppy shots and will be dewormed regularly from 2 weeks of age. We spend a great deal of time with our puppies making sure they all get their fair share of love and attention, we hope it shows once you take your new puppy home! We expect that our puppies will be house pets, dachshunds are not designed to be outdoor dogs. Please ask questions about owning a dachshund, we are always happy to talk about our dogs! We are always available by email and by phone from 9:00 am until 7:00 PM Monday through Saturday. We raise both miniature and small standard sizes, please ask about a pup's size before purchasing, we cannot guarantee a pup's adult size no matter the size of the parents. Puppies are ready to go to new homes at 8 weeks of age. Each baby has an individual personality, once you have have your new pup home, you play a major role in providing the necessary training to make your pup a balanced, healthy adult. The majority of our pups are sold with LIMITED AKC papers as pets, if you are looking for full AKC, please discuss it with me. We require a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of $100.00 to hold a puppy, no exceptions unless something should happen to a pup while in our care. A puppy is considered available until we receive a deposit. ALL pups must be payed for in full before leaving our home. We are sad to have to be so strict, but circumstances have forced it. We do not show our dogs or arrange puppy pick ups on Sundays, we reserve Sundays for spending precious time with our family...especially now that we are expecting our first grandchild -IT'S A GIRL! | MALE VERSUS FEMALE: I am frequently asked which makes a better pet, male or female...both! Males are generally less expensive to purchase and also to have altered. They are often faster to catch onto housebreaking than a female and when altered early, some never learn to "hike" their leg. Both sexes make loving, devoted pets..consider adopting a male! |
